Polo!
Diogo asked what Marco Polo was – he was referring to the game that can be played in a swimming pool. But Bruno added Marco Polo was some ‘discovery guy’
I say it can also be a drink. What can you find about all these Marco Polo things?!
Bye!

Marco Polo was a merchant from the Venetian Republic who wrote Il Milione, which introduced Europeans to Central Asia and China. He learned about trading whilst his father and uncle, Niccolò and Maffeo, voyaged through Asia and met Kublai Khan. In 1269, they returned to Venice to meet Marco for the first time. The three of them embarked on an epic journey to Asia, returning after 24 years to find Venice at war with Genoa; Marco was imprisoned, and dictated his stories to a cellmate. He was released in 1299, became a wealthy merchant, married and had 3 children. He died in 1324, and was buried in San Lorenzo.

At least you found precious information; Marco Polo was a merchant and he became known for his travels. Bruno was somehow right!
We are still waiting for the Mar – co Po – lo game information. I ran into Diogo today and he said he forgot about the blog
I think he only thinks about basketball
Take care and see you soon!
Marco Polo was a great discover, from Venice, in Italy. He was born in 15/9/1254. He made a big travel to Mongoly, to meet the king of Mongoly and he also passed in China. After that he returned to Venice and he told his story about the trip to a friend of him. Then, his friend used the story about Marco Polo, to make a book.
Marco Polo died in Venice 298/1/1324.
Hi there!
I have been reading about him as well. Did you know he travelled with his father and uncle and that he was only 17? And that the travel took 24 years?!?
That was a loooong trip!
